ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Susanna Salk is the author of many design books. Her first was the unexpected hit, A Privileged Life, Celebrating WASP Style (Assouline) which stemmed from her upbringing on Boston’s North Shore. Her next books, all with Rizzoli, celebrate finding tangible inspiration in design, from the bestselling Be Your Own Decorator to Room for Children: Stylish Spaces for Sleep and Play, which was the first book of its kind to explore design for the junior set and has its sequel, Dream Rooms for Children: Inspiring Spaces for Sleep, Study and Play coming out in March 2021. Salk is also the author of the popular: Dogs and Their Designers and At Home in the English Country Side: Designers and Their Dogs.
Salk hosts the acclaimed video series, “At Home With” via her Quintessence You Tube channel. With now over one hundred episodes, logging over one million monthly views, Salk visits the homes and gardens of top designers and style makers around the globe with Stacey Bewkes, founder of the acclaimed Quintessence blog.
